Using our traditional family recipe, McLoughlin’s Irish black pudding has become a staple addition among families and chefs across Perth. Sometimes referred to as ‘blood pudding’, our unique combination of locally sourced beef, pork, blood, oatmeal and spices along with our traditional smoking methods result in a distinct texture and flavour that continues to please taste buds at the table.
When cooking black pudding, we suggest to slice 2-3cm thick and shallow pan fry on a high heat until crispy on both sides.
